Patient’s Condition

A 58-year-old patient presented with severe pain and stiffness in the right knee. The condition had significantly reduced his mobility and affected his ability to perform routine daily activities.

Clinical examination and standing X-rays revealed advanced osteoarthritis of the right knee, with considerable damage to the joint surfaces.

Treatment Decision

Based on the severity of the joint damage, the patient’s symptoms, and the impact on his daily life, a right total knee replacement was recommended.

The aim of the surgery was to:

Surgical Procedure

A right total knee replacement, also known as total knee arthroplasty, was successfully performed using the Zenith Knee System. The damaged joint surfaces were replaced with prosthetic components to restore proper alignment, stability, and smoother knee movement.

The postoperative X-rays show the knee implant positioned in both front and side views.
